Major Gift Campaigns

Your donation can be directed toward any of our four giving pillars.

1

Scholarship Endowment

Endowment to fund scholarship stipends in perpetuity — ensuring every deserving Loyola rugby player has access to support.

2

Coaching Endowment

Endowment to fund annual coaching salaries. Coaching costs can exceed $50,000 annually and are critical to the program's competitiveness.

3

Sponsorships

Business logos on kits, the pitch, and social media. A visible way for companies and individuals to support Loyola Rugby.

4

Bleachers: Capital Campaign

Permanent bleachers at Lugano Field to improve the game-day experience for players, families, and fans.

Coaching Endowment

Coaching is the newest — and most critical — addition to SLOB's mission. Quality coaching can cost $50,000 or more annually, and establishing a permanent endowment would fund those salaries in perpetuity, ensuring continuity of leadership for generations of Loyola Rugby players.

15s Head Coach

Vince Rapposelli

National Championship winner with Mount St. Mary's. Founded the Howard 7s program and took them to Nationals twice in three years. Also serves as head coach for the Young Glory Academy.

7s Coach

Will Knipscher

Coached Loyola's 7s team since 2019, leading them to D3 Nationals every year and securing the CRC Premier Cup in 2025. Founder of Beltway Elite 7s. USA Men's 7s National Team Camp invitee (2006, 2007).

15s Backs Coach & Recruiting

Brennan Ames

Four-year A-side starter and team captain at Loyola (2021–2025). SLOB Scholarship recipient, Outstanding Freshman, and Team MVP. Now leading recruiting efforts while continuing to play with Young Glory and Beltway Elite 7s.

Fund Coaching in Perpetuity

A coaching endowment within the $1.5M goal would generate the annual distributions needed to sustain world-class coaching — with principal conserved.

Bleachers: Capital Campaign

Project 2026 includes a capital campaign to install permanent grandstands at Lugano Field — home of Loyola Rugby. Bleachers would transform the game-day experience for players, families, and fans, while also providing branded sponsor placements that generate ongoing revenue for the program.

Why Lugano Field Deserves Grandstands

  • — Loyola Rugby is the oldest club sport on campus, founded in 1976
  • — Lugano Field is one of the premier rugby complexes on the East Coast
  • — Permanent seating elevates the program's recruiting profile
  • — Sponsor signage on bleachers creates a recurring revenue stream
  • — Improves the experience for families and the wider alumni community

Corporate Sponsorship

Put Your Brand on Loyola Rugby

Loyola Rugby is one of the most high-profile club sports on campus and competes nationally. Your logo goes on the kit both sides wear, on the touchline at Lugano Field, and into everything the club publishes — in front of current students, five decades of alumni, and opposition support all season.

Loyola Rugby kit and match ball showing the available sponsor placements: a title sponsor across the chest, a second logo on the upper chest, both sleeves, the shorts, and the ball

Where your logo goes

  • —Title placement · across the chest, the largest mark on the kit
  • —Second chest logo · upper chest, beside the club crest
  • —Both sleeves · visible in every ruck, tackle and team photograph
  • —Shorts · front-of-thigh placement
  • —Match balls · carried through warm-ups and every restart
  • —Lugano Field · touchline signage and the on-field tent

Placements are shown on a kit mockup. Final artwork is produced with our supplier once a package is agreed.
